1. Overachiever Joe Scarborough Lecturing Paul Krugman on what to |
|
do about the economy. We are truly in Bizarro world here. I love to hear Krugman speak about the economy, but he's got to be more selective about who he talks to. Whats next - Contessa Brewer?
Our country is being led to destruction by some really, really dumb Republicans, who are no smarter than their base, who all appear to be taking their marching orders from their media heroes. We hear complaints about Carline Kennedy not being up to the job of Senator, when 40% of the Senate is as dumb as a sack of doorknobs.

He's kind of a sarcastic jerk, but when he says stuff like that I like it, lol. He's a little like Keith, he doesn't quite fit into the proper Beltway civility etiquette where when the emperor has no clothes nobody is supposed to point it out let alone be a smartass about it.

Krugman is not God, but I don't trust too many other people to tell me what's really going on with the economy. The idea of ol' perfesser Joe Scarborough lecturing Krugman on anything is laughable. He thinks that -- what was it? Six lousy years in Congress? -- gives him the bona fides to be an economics expert and party elder. :barf:

18. Interesting, the only time the country was firing on all cylinders |
|
was during the Clinton administration and now Joe is trying to claim that it was because of the Republicans in Congress that made the Clinton years work so well.
Now that is an example of true desperation. The reality is that the Republican party is intellectually and morally bankrupt and they simply do not have the constitution of character to face that fact. Until they find it in themselves to accomplish such, their party will remain completely vacant.

"Us smart guys in the 90's got a lot of stuff done." "Eehh, actually you got nothing done. Which worked perfectly at the time." "Eeeeehh..hmmm..eeeeh...<epiphany>..Lets do that again! Whaddayasay?" "Can't. Would ruin us." "Oh, ok. But we were still fantastic back when I was in the game, don't you think?" "Whatever, you stupid moron."
