2. Cenk needs to pull out the NUMBERS Rachel used and HAMMER IT HOME.
For EVERY DOLLAR invested in Food Stamps, $1.73 is returned to the economy. For EVERY DOLLAR in tax cuts, 0.69 (iirc) returns into circulation. There were others but I'm an ol' lady and don't recall them off the top.

5. I posted that Maddow video at TYT.com.
I also want Cenk to hammer them on the show AND make a youtube clip out of the segment. In fact in my post on the website I said that every Dem in Congress should ditch their button up shirt and tie and instead wear a t-shirt with those numbers on the front.

Imagine if they did that? The debate would be OVER, and we could pass a GOOD stimulus bill. If only they had the guts.

3. He's right about the filibuster.
Let them do it and thereafter be known as the obstructionist party that cost regular joes their jobs.

"The real question now is whether Obama will be able to come back for more once it’s clear that the plan is way inadequate. My guess is no. This is really, really bad."

7. The answer is simple -- Boycott the Military.
Unfortunately, people are so hungry for money that they figure that selling their soul to work for the Military is appropriate.

They don't realize that the Military industrial complex needs drones to work at their pleasure, and have no qualms about laying them off as soon as their usefulness is gone.

It is unfortunate that Cenk didn't mention the 700 Billion dollar budget the Military received in September of 2008, a week before that last "Bailout". It wasn't reported in the mass media, and the story has long since been deposited into the Memory Hole.
