5. I wish he had given that speech 2 weeks ago.

I know, I know, there's no end to my complaining. I think he might have passed a better bill if he had opened the bargaining session with this press conference, and then held it over the heads of Congress like the sword of fucking Damocles.

Still, I do love it when he cracks open that silver tongued whoop-ass.

8. I wish he could have taken his challenge to repugs further.

I believe it was during Q&A he said, "if people don't believe me that this is a (economic) crisis, then go to Elkhart Ind. and talk to the people who are in need of economic recovery, and see for themselves".

We all know that repugs are afraid of talking to people outside of their "knuckle dragging" district.

I know this was his first presser, but I would have preferred showing some teeth for repugs that are doing their damnest to score political points and drag the Presidents numbers down. According to NPR, repugs did not get their way as polls go---repugs = unfavorable with public on this legislation. I say yippy-skippy to that. :applause:

members of congress and SENATORS???? as in Lugar? THIS is where grassroots should be working.
