now, with McCain ... he offered $50 an hour to pick lettuce ... and when people accepted his offer, he did as any self-respecting ReRushican would do ... renege ...

From what I understand, Henrietta was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently lost her job. Her son later lost his when he missed work to care for her. Without an income they lost their house and have been living in a pickup truck for a year waiting for public housing.

The good news is that a local Florida Democrat offered her a house. :)


And, yes, I do remember McCain's angry tirade against us "slacker" American workers who wouldn't pick lettuce for $50/hour. Repuke scum that he is, of course he reneged. They lie like they breathe.
