2. Morgan Stanley won't call them "bonuses," but "retention awards."
That's what I was referring to in another thread. These clowns will engage in a game of semantics and still get their outrageous compensation regardless of how they or their companies perform.

This is exactly why you cannot operate long term under laissez faire, deregulated markets. The players will abuse the system to its detriment.

There's this idiot columnist for a newspaper in Lima,Ohio - Tom Lucente - who rants all the time that markets must be left totally out of any kind of regulation. He's obviously never been in a situation where he was exposed to the realities of life, the way he rants. He got his Econ-101 certificate and now he knows everything about real-life economics.

4. K&R because...
I'm a Maxine Waters fan! This lady is my idea of a patriotic American. I have been proud of everything she has done to beat back the attacks on the US Constitution over the past eight hellish years.

The Assholes on MSNBC's market watch thing beat up on Maxine Waters all day yesterday for holding those corporate rip-off artist's feet to the fire. I'm thankful that Congresswoman Waters is there to go to bat for the people who have been abused by the Bandits on Wall Street.
