2. I am proud to say that I know Pat Alviso personally.

She vigil'ed with us against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in Belmont Shore most of the last five years, and she and significant other Jeff are also fixtures at the MFSO "cross" vigil in Huntington Beach. Pat has a son that recently returned alive and unharmed (Thank God!) from Iraq.

There are no finer people than Pat and Jeff.

PS Pat is only 4'11" tall so it's a real hoot to watch her dress down someone who is usually about a foot taller than she is.
