1. The only successful legacy of Bush is that he ushered in an era
of brilliant political satire. There was good stuff before, but the last 8 years has been so screwed up and Bush is such a clown that satirists had to find a way to make us laugh.

2. I rented W and watched it a few days ago...
I was 50/50 on whether I really wanted to watch it... It sat there for several days before I did, but I was curious how well Josh Brolin would capture him. I guess it was well done, but still hard to watch and much of it brought back my anger.

In one of the last scenes with Poppy, they depicted a blow out over the fact that W had destroyed Jeb's chances and the Bush* name. I really wonder how true that may be, in terms of W and Poppy's relationship. At any rate, it was far too "kind" to GWB* to be very cathartic. I wonder if Ferrell's broadway show is more biting an thus, more cathartic...

4. There are some reviews at the link
I haven't read them but I did read an article on Ferrell's show when they were doing test runs. He makes fun of Bush but he also has some pretty tender moments-remorse over the loss of lives. Bush is human after all.

I read the same thing about "W"-Stone was fair and showed basically how W got to where he was and to some extent how he was just a passenger on the ride.

 but you've seen the movie. I will check it out soon.

3. K&R Even Ferrell can't seem to believe what a douchebag
W. is.
