3. I was seriously concerned that Obama's election

and Bush's departure would result in a severe comedy deficit in this country over the next four years but it's obvious that the GOP is rising to the challenge of being unintentionally hilarious just by being themselves.

Based on their public rantings it's not at all a stretch to imagine that such a discussion among themselves could have actually taken place.

SNL has recently displayed some of it's former brilliance by channeling the GOP's inner numskull.

Yes, let them listen to hateful racist lying big mouth's republican talking heads like Limbaugh & Hannity.

The republicans have absolutely NOTHING to offer but more big tax cuts for the rich & corporations...nothing more, they are bankrupt.

But that won't stop the republicans from trying to destroy Obama...with any little distortion, smear and lie, made up or not and then try and make it into a major scandal (as the republicans did with Clinton) with the help of the massive republican media machine.

The truly vast right-wing conspiracy - Although with the power of the Internet and the emergence of progressive talk on radio & television as well as in print....it's not quite as powerful as it was during Clinton's regime....

(The republicans would certainly love to be able to censor & control the content of the Internet in the future).

actually, call in radio has been a reactionarky preserve since the 70's. But try criticise media, when the media already claims/admits, it's 'liberal lefty' incessantly ad nazism! The herd seems oblivious to the fact they are being defrauded more in terms of news/information, which is showing up in, for example, ursurious 22 percent credit card rates etc, but...what can anyone do?
