Most didn't come across as the frothing hatemongers at the Palin rallies. The older guy, James Sweeney(?) now he was going right towards that direction though. I like how he said that he don't think of the Clintons, lol. That guy probably owes his whole life to good liberal policies. Oh wait, I'm sure according to his principles he never went to a public school and he doesn't accept his Social Security and Medicare benefits.

Yeah compared to a Palin rally these people are pretty calm. Mostly white, rural small town churchgoers. I grew up in a town like that, people tend to be naturally conservative. They hunt, fish and go to church. Most people in this town were Dems, so I think an underlying theme could be race though. It is in my hometown. I know good people who probably never have seen more than 2 black people in their lives and I heard a few use the N word. My friend's dad, one of the nicest most honest people I've ever met, said it once. It shocked me. I can see people in a town like this being like that.

They mentioned Obama got just over 4% of the vote, and then admit that was 8 voters. Which means the 92% people who voted for McCain (not sure who the remainder voted for) amount to a whopping 184 people. There were probably more people who voted for Obama on my BLOCK than in that whole county.
But I'm just a heathen city dweller, so nobody considers me part of 'the real america'.

That was the most racist part of the piece--saying that Obama is not making a move without consulting Bill and Hill. Why? It's saying that an African American can't think for himself. And that's what they truly believe.
The lady with the horses is just like my mom--she "hopes" Obama will do a good job but will have to "wait and see".

Whatever else he may be, the old guy has the right idea about the Clinton's. Or Neocon Lite (tm), as I prefer to call them. You really think that SOS position was based on qualification? Puuulleeeeeaaase. It was either the top cabinet position or wreck the Party. That's just the way these arky saw barefoot swamp jumpers roll. The Democratic "Southern Strategy" personified. YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW! dingy ding dong dung ding dingy ding ding! (I don't think much of the Clinton's) :)

A two bit B movie actor that had a chimp for a sidekick... and he made films too! I like TRUE BLUE Democrats. You know! Like Jimmy Carter. A quiet, gentle man that attempted to grow the fuck up this country, but the country was too spoiled and liked shiny stuff, drooling in wonder at Ronnie's "shiny shack on a mound" crap. Are you starting to visualize? His Slicketh Williness was just a sick faded pink color in between two bright red ones. I'm left of Hugo.

no apostrophe is to be used when you're saying "Clintons" and talking about the family (plural words). If you're talking about Bill Clinton's opinions, then you'd use the apostrophe. Just saw it twice and thought I'd help - I appreciated it when people helped me type more accurately.

21. You can call anybody a "Democrat".....doesn't make them one. |
|
We have to remember...the Democratic Party of 50 years ago are the repug/fascist party of today. The Southeast WAS heavily "democratic" back in the days of segregation and all the other ass-back wards society values.
Today...the Democratic Party stand FOR the people....for ALL the people. The repug/fascist party stands for the ignorant, the "selfish-wealthy", the religious nut cakes and the bigots and white supremacists. I probably left a few smaller groups out...but you get the picture.
These morons DON'T represent what I want to see America as being. Living in the dark ages, total faith in their simple minded religion.....scary folks. I couldn't be comfortable living anywhere near them.

I call bullshit. I bet not a single one of those "Democrats" has voted that way in a long time. probably the same result in '04 and '00.
The one lady cites McCain and Palin as more moral, but, looking at their past's, Obama and Biden were the most moral. I just don't get the repub's........can they read?

That reminds me of an republican woman who reads my blog and comments. She wrote that earlier that day she was outside in the cold weather and that she's so tired of the cold. She went one to say "But gods in control and I trust him". At the end of her comment she added that as she was coming back inside the house, a large chunk of ice slid off the roof, hit her on the head!
Palin trustworthy? I heard today that her children found her ultrasound picture of Trig and asked her what it was about. She made up a story (lie) about the ultrasound pic because she didn't tell them she was pregnant till 6 weeks before Trig was born. If this is true then she's worse than I ever suspected.
