On edit: I get the sense that Peanut allergies are somehow fashionable. Like the new black.

14. Hey, peanut allergies are real |
|
I started having adverse (like you're going to die) reactions to peanuts when I was in graduate school in the late 1970s. Thinking it must be in my head, I would try once a year or so to ingest a small amount (one miniscule bite of a peanut butter cookie, say)--and I'd be on the floor writhing within the hour. Anything cooked in peanut oil would cause me to have violent flu-like symptoms: dizziness, disorientation, intense painful stomach distress, and and terrible nausea. Fortunately, no closing off of the airways.
It was all so awful that I have not gone near a peanut in over 30 years now ... and I get really pissed when I'm on a 4 1/2 hour flight and the only snack they have to offer is a bag of peanuts. They can't keep a little bag of pretzels around?
Have a little sympathy for us peanut-sensitive folks.

It wasn't about penises ... but if that's all you can think about, keep on diddling.

|
from a peanut allergy.
I suspect that with all environmental toxins, people are ebcoming sensitized to allergens in ways they never were ebfore.

How do you know peanut allergies haven't been around forever? Man only ate peanuts in large quantities very recently (if you think of the entire history of man). And before the 19th century, deaths from such allergies may have been attributed to something else.
Salmonella in your peanuts is something altogether different, y'know.! (It's criminal)

46. they say it's delicious with a light bearnaise sauce . . . |

the proper blend of egg yolks, shallots, tarragon, butter, vinegar, and sometimes white wine and chopped chervil adds a tasty zest to an otherwise pedestrian protein . . .
leftovers make great sandwiches, too . . .
