- On 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. David Frum calls the GOP brain dead for their theatrics over the stimulus bill and says they should be having policy debates instead. The trouble with his argument is that they did have those policy debates. They got some tax cuts into the bill, and tax cuts aren't going to get our economy out of the mess it's in. -

3. Frum is brain dead. We've had almost 30 years of Reaganomics and look at us now.

Cut taxes. Deregulate. Watch corporations become less accountable. Watch the wealthy get wealthier and the middle class shrink. And what's Frum's solution? More of the same policies that prommote this.

Talk about brain dead.

Well, it sure isn't going to be of any help for anyone who is unemployed and doesn't have the privilege of paying taxes.

But, just think how much it would benefit those in the top tax brackets. I would suppose that Frum would like those Tax Holidays to conveniently happen to coincide with BONUS DAY for those hardworking top level managers who have worked so diligently to put us into the mess we are now in.

He has a better plan? Yeah, for the wealthy. What a jerk off.
