Wow, the old boy's not looking too well these days without his make up artist and hair stylist.

1. Sen. McCain has a cold.
I think. He needs to go to bed after eating some clear broth. Sorry. I couldn't help myself. Once a mother...

2. Mcain, "Blah, blah, blah, blah." Obama, "Thank you for you concern, we've already done something

about that."

McCain is even out of touch on his favorite issues.

3. he was nodding off during Obama's speech today
The cameras didn't stay on him, but I did note that his head was dipping while he sat next to LIEberman.

6. Any procurement process (especially of this size) can always be improved

Conspiracy theorists love to make a point of Rumsfeld's presser on Sept 10 2001 about $1.2 Trillion of stuff missing from the DoD as a sign of something else or burying it. Rummy was right about that, it needs to be fixed. As of 2002 there were 1,400 different accounting systems being used in the DoD procurement, budgeting, and costing administrations. 1,400 accounting systems. Most of those were small buys by Congressmen for constituents and paying clients (wink) so they can use that in their marketing but 1,400 is ridiculous. I have an accounting degree and have worked in a variety of jobs and I had no idea that there even WERE 1,400 different systems in existence.

On EDIT
amongst the things missing -we are pretty sure we have them somewhere we just don't know where- were:
a Naval salvage vessel
tanks (TANKS)
lots of vehicles
etc.

7. McCain's GOTCHA
Edited on Mon Feb-23-09 09:28 PM by kimocrossman
John McCain forgot he is dealing with Columbia and Harvard trained lawyer - he's just a simple Navy fighter - instead he looks petty silly - We no longer have a president who just grunts.

9. Sharp as a tack
He really has a great wit.

"Of course, I've never had a helicopter before." That's a great line, and no way it could have been scripted.

12. He wasn't trying to attack McCain
He is on the same side of the argument as McCain. They are both against this abuse.

11. lmao did you see the look of shame in mccain's eyes
when Obama said he is one of the people who has been "sincere" about the issues? Then mccain proceeds into some disingenuous bullshit!
