Johnathan Turley, who is a great Constitutional scholar, makes an interesting comment towards the end of this video as to why we must deal with the Bush war crimes issue ourselves.

war criminals. That's just fact.

This horrible global financial meltdown may wind up being a good thing for justice. It could go that way.

Maybe that's our best hope. Leahy and Conyers are fucking hopeless, imo. (Wow, I've come a long way from the days of telling people to have patience with Conyers. Damn.)

I have a feeling that the members of the former administration aren't going on any foreign trips anytime soon though. Although that doesn't mean that other countries still can't charge them with war crimes. We HAVE to do this soon.
