Actually, it is edited, but it is still hilarious.

Hahahah that's great but I think it was edited (this repeated fast blinking is strange). At least I can't remember that it was that long.
If it happened, Kerry's nod during this act was funny though. As if he said "You have anything to say? Yeah, didn't think so."

10. No, it wasn't. it was one of the many moments in that debate when W
was completely lost...Yet somehow, it's always the dems without a plan.

13. Yes, edited
But I'm sure what was edited out was almost as stupid as his slack jawed stare.

Hm are you sure? I remember that he looked that dumb for a few seconds, not for the whole 30 seconds. Even he wouldn't stand like that with an open mouth.
Like Skinner said, I think we would have never forgotten such a moment, it would have been a classic. This repetitive fast blinking that occurs like 3 times is too strange.
It's a very funny video, I just don't think it happened for the whole 30 seconds.

4. Amazing!!
I remember watching those debates and couldn't figure out what he was doing, then afterward the ear monitor story that the media paid no attention to. It was a sad moment for our country, and on a personal note i new we were screwed.

5. He looks like he is having a mild epileptic seizure.
I wonder if he really has some neurological damage from the coke
and booze. That would be really sad if it was anyone but an arrogant
prick like him pretending to be presidential.

6. I know it is common in the General Discussion forum for people to post thread titles in all caps.
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 10:28 AM by Skinner
But I'm not thrilled to see the practice being used in the new Video Forum. Could we try to avoid doing this in the future? (Except, perhaps, in those rare occasions where a story is breaking and it is genuinely BIG news.)

Also, descriptive thread titles are helpful.

Sorry to be a spoil sport. I just would hate to see a thread title arms race in this forum too.

(BTW: This video isn't real. If this had actually happened at the debates, don't you think someone here would have remembered it?)

(Also, did you see my edit above? This video isn't real.)

9. And that's why he ...um..."won"! Yeah, that's the ticket! He won, I tell ya!
And to this day you hear pundits, even dems, even Al Franken on Air America talk about what a good politician W is and how his opponents aren't quite good enough to measure up....
