...funny how this administration would not accept international aid and rescue teams, but had no problem with employing mercenaries.

Ironically, the founder of blackwater is a born again fundamentalist wacko, who somehow seems to have missed the day when they were "thou shalt not kill" in his Sunday School. I guess the religious wackos were not using a figure of speech when they were uttering all that "march on Christian soldiers" nonsense.

Having a Rogue Shadow government running amok is terrible and they are stealing our tax dollars right and left

- Unchecked Federal Power
- Uncaring or Fearful politicians (NAFTA, Military Commissions Act, Real ID, etc, etc, etc)
- Global Intervention and Imperialism due to over-aggressive foreign policy (Haiti, Venezuela, "War on Terror," Iraq, Afghanistan, and possibly Iran)
- Growing power of independent and wealthy Private Military Contractors (PMC's).

I wouldn't care so much about Blackwater if they weren't so partisan in origin and seemingly above of the law. If they were made to abide by the rules of the regular military, and some others stipulations...I wouldn't care.

1) Randi has been on this for ages. She always says "for people in the know". That number has to reach critical mass.
2) Anyone remember blackwater roaming the drowned NOLA wasteland trying to deal with the gangs? That sight totally spooked me, to use one of Pap's words out of his rant. National guard in Iraq and Blackwater in the US makes me wanna advise y'all to either be ready for massive underground resistance or for outright open revolution, when the next election is stolen / canceled / disturbed by another 9/11.
