"Obama Make CNN Ed Henry His Bitch...Companion" Eugene Robinson Say on Countdown Keith Olbermann. |

An LOL moment between KO and Gene... And the president's quick response proves that he doesn't really need a teleprompter... ;)

2. I know! I laughed out loud! |

And I agree about Gene, one of the smartest and most amusing contributors on MSNBC. I always stop what I'm doing and pay attention whenever he's on, know he's going to say something worth hearing... :-)

3. Yeah, I love the guy. He is quite objective overall ... but he also has such a sharp wit. |
|
Sort of in the tone of dry British humor. Sometimes it passes you by and then you consider what he said ... Oh, yeah ... how very drool. :spray:

4. Me too... And you can tell that KO appreciates his take on things. |
|
He enjoys the back-and-forth with Gene the same as he does with Rachel, appreciates people who are both intelligent and "get it." :D
You notice that Chuck Todd wasn't mentioned. ;)

Asking the president why Americans haven't been asked to "sacrifice" during this recession... Huh?! :eyes:

6. I notice the reporters have to read from their notes when asking Obama a question. |
|
So, why the outrage over Obama reading from a teleprompter?
First, Limbaugh started it with his recent mocking of Obama reading from a teleprompter. And the media gerbils show their political stripes by parroting things that Limbaugh says, as if anything Limbaugh says is newsworthy.

8. "dodged a question?" a la dodge ball |
|
If that was dodging a question, then Bush would have normally "run out of the room". All of Bush's responses ended up referring to terrorism and how 9/11 changed everything..."But, but president Bush, we're talking about global warming.."
Ed Henry, the new media tool.

10. Robinson is a class act, one of the real journalists out there... |
|
I am thinking that he was filled with pride when the president stated he liked to know the issue before he talked about it. That is the difference between Journalism and punditry or a president and a fool...:hi:
