1. He seems to forget that one of Obama's campaign promises was unprecedented transparency |
|
that means, no media filter... take it to the people. I believe that he is fulfilling that promise.
Further, this president has been more accessible to the press than any other in modern times. He's given more press conferences in 60 days that others have done through most of their terms.
They just need to manufacture controversy to make them seem relevant.

Although he should of given the drug question more focus, but that's more down to the people to raise awarness so addressing the drug war polls better and show how the drug war is lost and it'll take a new strategy.

4. He can't stand the fact that... |
|
he can't tell us what the President is doing because he doesn't even know when the Pres has been spelling out to him and the repugs for months.

5. The media asks arcane questions that no one is interested in. |
|
They just ask questions to make themselves look good. Obama has given lots of news conferences. In his Town Hall, he answered the questions that ordinary people voted on and wanted him to answer. It's fair since Obama is answering both kinds of questions.
The internet has allowed us, the people, to bypass the filter of the press. People like Chris Matthews are upset by this change. He and the rest of them are going to have to get used to the new rules.
After all, Chris Matthews along with the rest of the press corps really let us down with their failure to ask the tough questions before the War in Iraq. They sure lost my confidence on that one. It could be argued that their negligence in reporting enabled Bush to commit the crimes he committed in Iraq. It's hard to forgive people like Chris Matthews for that.
