:spank: This is one of the two segments. The other is just as good but not up on youtube yet. Poor Ralphie-boy...no respect...

can hitchens be more coherent/effective if he were sober?
Ralph REED? HE is there to support Falwell? I loved Hitchens's "abramof business partner" stuff.

I think he's as effective with those types precisely because he's drunk and just doesn't give a damn. A sort of devil-may-care approach. Maybe it's sort of like that phenomenon (or at least the urban legend thereof) that drunks who get into auto accidents frequently escape without major injury due to their relaxed state. (I don't know if it's true or not, it's just what I've heard).
I actually detest Hitchens, and agree with George Galloway's characterization of him, but I do have to admit a guilty pleasure in seeing him taking down defenders of religious fundamentalism. I guess the guy is at least good for something.

4. Why does Hitchens even go on there? |
|
Nobody left of Limbaugh should consign themselves to speak on Foxnews no matter how starved for attention they are.
Let these assholes debate themselves.

5. Hitchens is a Prostitute |

When are we going to stand up for decency and reason in public media and an end to corporate control of the political debate?
It's time for every thinking person of conscience to stop supporting Faux News and their fascist framing of reality!

8. These people CHOSE to be agents of hate for profit. The Reeds and Falwells out there deserve |

whatever fate decides to silence them with. I'm not saying you deserve to die or suffer for having an unpopular opinion whether it be hateful or not, but I do believe that when you take the positions that individuals such as Falwell and Reed took and continue to take today, part of free speech is dealing with the backlash. This isn't an issue of one man's fight to achieve peace and justice. This is an issue of a man who celebrated the deaths of thousands of innocents AND PRAYED FOR THE DEATHS OF MILLIONS MORE (i.e. those who didn't follow Christian-Talibanism of his own design)
It is bad taboo to celebrate the death of any living thing, however I will unapologetically say that with the death of a man like this, Humanity has suffered no loss, Progress has suffered no loss as him and his ilk if anything have contributed to the decline of both and they did so out of their own volition and his tools like Reed continue to do so today.

|
referred loudly and proudly of the anti Christ as "DR FALWELL" and Hitchens could be heard in the background guffawing "Dr. Falwell" as in you must be joking. Well at least Hitchens has one thing right.

15. Falwel condems same sex relationships, but he admitted he masturbated! |
|
On Ron Reagan's 80 talk show, Falwel was damning xxx when the other 3 guests (Ron and James Caan(?) Jim Ferrantino(?)) etc....they confronted Jerry on 'do you ever masturbate'? and finally Falwell admitted that 'yes, i do, but only for Jesus' etc...(last bit, my injection) As Masturbation = same sex relationship, then Jerry = Hypocrite! good to see Chris Hitchens wiseing up....finally. Soon, dennis miller turn (or ben stein, al dershovitz...)
