1. "Other Programs"
Like the ones intercepting Democratic political communications. It's happened and continues. That is why they were in such a lather with Comey. That's what they were after DoJ approval for. That's why Gonzalez is playing semantics.

5. Let me tell you what happened to a Yahoo Groups I was on.
No data-mining? Not searching every damn communication for keywords? I belonged to a SOAP OPERA list. But, being a private list, we discussed other things as well. And we were both candid and fanciful. One of our members was married to a Jordanian named Mohammed. Any question about the Middle East, we always asked her to ask Mohammed. And, of course, his joys over the soccer successes of his sons were featured.

In addition, I frequently compared the incompetence of TIIC of General Hospital to TIIC of our government. ABC's Brian Frons was GH's George Bush. Sometimes we described the hideous deaths we wished to befall certain GH characters and/or its writing staff and upper management. Because watching GH was torture.

We had angry discussions over GH's overuse of guns, explosions, and violence.

We also discussed football and baseball so you can imagine the language.

See the words:

Bush Mohammed guns violence Jordan explosion revenge kill torture murder steal base plot destroy etc.

One day we couldn't get into the list. Nobody else was having trouble getting into a Yahoo list. Just us, as far as we could tell. Tech support gave a no answer song and dance, yadda yadda. For weeks. Then...Oops the list is lost. Over ten thousand emails, including everything we said on 9/11, gone for good.

Hey, things happen. And a bunch of FBI guys didn't spend weeks reading 10,000 soap opera emails. Because that would never happen here.

6. Not just lots of room for other programs....Gonzales specifically stated
...that he was responding only to the NSA surveillance wiretapping. He refused to answer any questions related to other programs as documented in the video when asked by Sen. Dianne Feinstein. The committee needs to bring Gonzales back and ask him directly as to what other surveillance programs has the president authorized, specifically how many are there, what are these known as or called and do any of those involve illegal wiretapping. Grill Gonzales until he gives an answer.:wtf:

9. The person who posted it was probably worried about it getting deleted, I know I would.
I just posted new links to the full video, (which is now up at FRONTLINE's web site) in my post below.

8. Here's the link to the Video at FRONTLINE and the Transcript of the interview
...since the video was "removed by the user" at YouTube.

I'm pretty sure it's in part 2, about half way in:

<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/homefront/view/>

<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/homefront/interviews/swire.html>

It looks like the full program transcript isn't ready yet, but will be at this link when it is:

<http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/homefront/etc/tapes.html>
