2. Murdoch is the TIP of the Iceberg

Many years ago, I read a book called "Four Arguments for the Elimination of Television" by Jerry Mander, first published in 1977. His arguments are chillingly prescient. Mr. Mander spent 15 years in the advertising business before beginning his public service campaign to publicize the dangers of television. I think it's time to listen to his voice and the voices of others who recognize the dangers of this pervasive medium, and take whatever steps are necessary to safeguard us and our Democracy from the rich corporatists who've usurped almost ALL of our media.

He has been such a force in destroying the FAUX whore machine. You all saw it culminate last night on the Simpson's, officially ushering in the mainstream ridicule of FAUX, but don't forget, it started with Mr. Greenwald's 'Outfoxed'. May god bless that man.
