For the last 8 years, the FDA has been staffed with corporate shills who consistently pushed through dangerous medicines and devices that were never tested properly. As a result, hundreds of thousands of Americans were put in harms way, and many lost their lives. But now that Bush is out of town and his cronies have left Washington with him, we might be finally have an FDA that will work for consumers, and not worry about the pharmaceutical industrys bottom line. Weve already seen a big reversal in the fact that President Obama has already agreed to give the agency their largest budget in history. Ring of Fire's Mike Papantonio discusses the the new direction of the FDA with attorney and consumer advocate Ben Gordon.
