to say that I thought Al Gore did a very credible job. Maybe it is because I am reading the book and know his agenda. Last night I was reading as I was listening/watching and so I wasn't sure about Gore's performance. He was just fine. There is supposed to be another section; maybe it will air when Keith is there.

In the ninth grade languages arts class I teach, we just finished our study of Animal Farm. When Al Gore mentions his concern over our nation's vulnerability to manipulation, I can only think of the animals on the farm. Their mistakes can be attributed to their lack of education, intimidation through fear tactics, and blind faith in authority. Orwell's warnings are still so relevant today.

I am reading The Assault on Reason. It is very inspiring and depressing at the same time. It is quite obvious after reading 3/4 of this book that Al Gore is ready to lead America and the world.
