I think he musta caught himself after a while because pulls back a little at the very end to throw in a little dig at Edwards using Memorial Day to make a statement about the war (as if the war and the war casualties aren't linked -- go figure). But you're right. He was not just mouthing the party line.

He's effectively saying "You're not promoting this war enough, and you should be doing more to promote the next one." Ending the war's so far off the guy's radar he can't even respond to the proposition. Iraq's just a sideshow to these guys: they'll dump the troops there just like they dropped the hunt for bin Laden. The question is, what are Democrats going to do to stop the neocons' next crazy stunt?

saying bumper stickers and t-shirts to those who contribute to the campaign? I know it's a little thing:

we should not protest on sunday because it is the day of rest
we should not protest on saturday because it is the sabbath for some
we should not protest on friday because it is casual day at the office
we should not protest on wednesday because it is hump day... and everyone deserves an occasional hump
we should not protest on monday because we should all be on time to our cheap-labor walmart jobs
we should not protest on tuesday because tuesdays child is full of grace

that leaves THURSDAYS

we should not protest between 8a.m. and 5p.m. because those are work hours, and stay off the damn internets during work hours too
we should not protest before breakfast, nor for two hours after eating

that leaves between 10p.m. and midnight
