I saw this at Mother Jones. It is ad from 1960 where Ike is saying some not so nice things about Nixon...or else the ad is taking it out of context. BTW, the reporter refers to Ike as the "decider" who makes all the decisions.

2. Yeah, that "Decider" sorta hangs in the air, doesn't it?
Nice to see this bit of Americana... and it reinforces the notion that we've had attack ads on the Teevee for a very long time.

(not that this particular attack ad wasn't perfectly justified; I'd love to see what Nixon had for JFK!)
