12. CNN addressed that...
Paris' eloquent words led some to wonder whether her tribute was planned.

"No, no not at all," said Kenny Ortega, who directed and coordinated the service, speaking to CNN's Campbell Brown.

"None of us were aware they were even coming," he told CNN's Campbell Brown. "It was a surprise they were there. All of us who know them were delighted they were strong enough to come and feel this love and great outpouring for their dad."

"We didn't know who was going to speak," Ortega said. "There was an openness we offered" the family to thank the audience.

experience with unexpected HUGE familial trauma like this. My parents died ten months apart. Out of the blue, unexpectedly, in front of me. The Jacksons had the same body language as my family:

1. disjointed movements of comfort. dazed and disjointed movements. they were hovering around her trying to comfort and in their own pain couldn't quite figure out how to do it. They patted and hovered and were numb.

2. numbness.

3. clinging to each other and trying to feel something besides the need to stand in one place and scream and scream and scream forever.

4. sure knowledge that no matter what you do or say, it won't be enough or help.

Their helpless body language spoke to me of genuine shock, searing pain and a need to stand next to each other for what little comfort they could manage right now. Their behavior with that child was genuine, a HUGE and DEEP desire to help her and protect her.

I feel for them more than I can say. Contrast their horror and pain with the blank affect of the dad. Joe Jackson is a son of a bitch.

RV, been there, done that.

The reality is he was hounded to death because of greed and the fact his music brought the world together it's something the sinister forces among the elite couldn't afford to take hold. Would media lie to us, surely, surely erm oh yeah. First case in a civil court for money and no prosecution made due to lack of evidence, second case found not guilty on 14 counts by a unanimous court with inconsistent stories from the accuser. Unanimous seems they had little doubt consider huge media driven bias too.

3. It's interesting
The kids will be able to see the world without pillow cases over their heads. MJ's veiling of them was as insidious as any mullah decreeing the burka for the women in his jurisdiction.

5. It allowed them to go out in public uncovered and not be followed by paparazzi -
it gave them a normal life when they were not out with MJ - they could go out uncovered with friends w/o being chased because the media didn't recognize them. Sounds like a smart dad!

6. This is the first time I've seen their faces
I'm willing to bet that he projected his weird aversion to people on them. At least now they have a chance at something resembling a normal life, if Daddy Joe stays away from them.

And the same is true for "rent-a-womb" Debbie Rowe. But she's only in it to shake down the Jackson family for a few more millions.

7. Weird aversion to people?
On what do you base that?

He had wonderful friends - did you hear what they said?
A person who had a weird aversion to people would not have been able to do "We are the world".

The only aversion he had was to paparazzi, and he was not alone in that.

11. Is Jackson her bio dad?
My husband is convinced there was some DNA test a few years ago that established that the children were genetically MJ's. I don't know what the other kids look like, but she certainly does not resemble him at all, and I read that he was not the dad (although I would be embarrassed to cite the sources).

Either way, it was sad to see her pain.

15. The other day
a family friend said that it was good that the public didn't know what the kids faces looked like all of these years because the kids were able to go out in public with friends of the family and their kids without being followed by paparazzi - they were able to go out and have fun and be able to do things that other ordinary kids do.

I do not think that Paris' comments were staged or rehearsed. Every time I hear Paris on TV my tears start flowing -- that doesn't happen unless there is honesty and truth behind the words. Her emotion was heartbreaking.

The body language between Paris and Janet was very touching and you could tell that they have a connection.

I hope that Debbie Rowe will back off and leave the kids in the care of the Jackson family where the belong.

Michael's dad, Joe Jackson, lives in Vegas and has not lived with Katherine for YEARS. He has an illegitimate daughter that was born in 1974 - the daughter a flight attendant according to Wikipedia.org, so that is probably why Joe and Katherine live in separate houses/cities. So, the media should stop saying that Joe could be a reason for Katherine not to get custody. He is not a factor in this issue.

18. One day she will learn the truth about her dad
Edited on Wed Jul-08-09 05:05 AM by Apollo11
Let's not forget what we already know about Michael Jackson's interactions with children.

Jordy Chandler, Jackson's first accuser, gave detectives a detailed description of Jackson's genital area, including distinctive "splotches" on his buttocks and one on his penis. The boy's information was so accurate he was able to locate where the splotch moved to when Jackson's penis became erect and the fact that he was circumcised. Jackson was brought in and his genitals duly photographed. Soon after this shoot (surely one of the stranger photo sessions endured by the singer) was matched up to Chandler's description, Jackson suddenly agreed to settle Chandler's civil claim out of court for somewhere north of $20m.

At this juncture, some details recounted in the affidavit of Gavin Arvizo, Jackson's second accuser, are also worth remembering: "Jackson told him that boys have to masturbate or they go crazy, and related a story about a boy who had sex with a dog. Jackson, he said, then told him he wanted to show him how to masturbate."

20. Please stop
please stop posting you propaganda all over the threads here on DU.
A court of law found MJ not guilty and you are being very disgusting trying to slander a person that has died.

The article on one of the links says the boy was 13 years old. AND YES 13 year old boys know enough about sex and money to make up stories.

Regarding Jordy Chandler, he would have been able to say that because the majority of males are circumcised and if he for some reason peeked and saw MJ naked (changing pjs in the bathroom, etc.) then he would have seen that MJ was splotchy because of the skin disease that MJ had. And I do believe that MJ did have a skin disease in the beginning - Cicley Tyson was on TV today talking about MJ's hand being splotchy and that was why he first started wearing a glove.

I don't know the facts in the second case but telling someone that masturbating is good for you isn't really a crime. There was no proof that he touched anyone.

The people, if anyone is guilty, are the doctors that prescribed the mind altering drugs!

The shame here is that there were crimes committed against very very young kids 3-7 years old in the past, all over America, before laws were put into place to deter such things, and because of the statue of limitations there are a lot of very old men that have gotten away with very bad crimes.

IN AMERICA PEOPLE ARE INNOCENT UNTIL 'PROVEN' GUILTY.

but apparently you are guilty of posting B.S. !!!

You have an excuse for everything. I'd like to point out that neither Bush nor Cheney have been convicted of any crime. So I guess they're not guilty of anything either.

Michael Jackson Conspiracy

Product Description
He was the pop icon the media loved to hate. Tremendously wealthy, inarguably eccentric, and one of the most famous people in the world, Michael Jackson was the unenviable target of constant public humiliation. The media poked fun at his skin, his features, his sexuality, and his lifestyle. Here, seasoned crime reporter Aphrodite Jones condemns the media for perpetuating hateful rumors and innuendoes, recounting just the sordid details, and reporting only the most despicable accusations and grisly charges made against Michael Jackson during his criminal trial. They had built a highly profitable industry around the superstar's "freaky life" and banked on his conviction. And, it turns out, they got it all wrong. In their efforts to make money and win ratings, the media missed the truth. It wasn't until after the "not guilty" verdict that Jones had the insight and courage to admit her own unintentional role in the frenzy surrounding the shocking testimony, high drama, and countless celebrities in Michael Jackson's high-profile criminal trial. Here, she makes amends with what is not only a truthful, well-documented chronicle of the entire trial but a powerful indictment against the media for conspiring to distort, dehumanize, and destroy Michael Jackson. Jones argues convincingly that the case against Jackson amounted to nothing more than a media-made, tax-paid scandal, and she makes an impassioned call to action for the public-at-large to think critically, question the integrity, and demand the truth in "the news". --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

About the Author
With five bestselling crime books under her belt, Aphrodite Jones has become a highly recognized authority on true crime. Jones has made more than one hundred television and radio appearances and has been quoted in articles that have appeared in the "Los Angeles Times", "New York Post", "Daily News", "The Hollywood Reporter", and "USA Today". She is the author of the "New York Times" bestseller "Cruel Sacrifice", and her account of the Brandon Teena story, "All She Wanted", became an international bestseller and was transformed into the film "Boys Don't Cry".
