Port St Lucie Responds to Tea Baggers

The city has released its own video on YouTube to address allegations by the Treasure Coast Tea Party that their civil rights were violated as they were put into a special area at Freedomfest on July 4 — with a sign nearby stating Port St. Lucie did not back their views or opinions.




These people made such a stink at our Freedom Festival on the 4th of July. I'm surprised my city decided to respond to them - but I am proud that they did.

The Tea Baggers made a big stink because they weren't allowed to set up in the regular area.

Typical campus Republican bs..."all the good locations were already taken because we didn't observe the deadlines and rules. Librul bias! Librul bias!" Waaaaaaaaaaaaah.

If the city had kept them from participating at all I'd be right up there with them complaining, but that's not what happened.

reasonable, and professional -- everything the whiners were not. The contrast between grown-up behavior and the teabaggers' whinge-a-thon is striking.
