Williams on Fox, October 2008. What a waste. No, wait a minute. He's always sucked.

2. His dad would have spit in McCain's eye...or any other politician looking for a "jingle"
Hank Williams Sr. wasn't for sale. Apparently, on occasion, the apple does fall far from the tree.

3. It's been said before, but the talent in that family seems to have skipped a generation:

He even *looks* like Grandpa...

5. Hank III had a killer version of ZZ Top's "Fearless Boogie" on this album:

As a ZZ Top fan, I enjoyed the whole thing, but his contribution was great...sounded like the song filtered through Social Distortion, another favorite band.

7. i agree with you....
however in the south....well, he kinda screwed up his own line.
People do say a's for their i's....so it makes sense in context in that way.
Like "blank" or "thank".
..but how dumb is Hank???...if he can't even get his own country accent right for his own stupid country song?
:wtf:
Has he been living in L.A. or something?

I have learned to not speak with an accent. Being from Dallas, I've even had people from "up north" be surprised that I'm from Texas.
7th generation on one side, I am. My grandmother taught 3rd grade, and constantly corrected my "whut" to "what".
But when I get around my family, boy do I let that drop. I think I've even heard myself say: I "thank" I'll go with y'all to the store.
