Cheney played Congress for chumps and used the CIA to do it, putting it in a very unfavorable position. They should not be snipping at each other. Both should be joining forces to make sure they send the message that they will not be used this way again. The Justice Dept., which was also used and disgraced by the Bushies, should be eager to help.

But everyone seems, of course, more concerned with No. 1 than anything else.

Is there even precedent set for something like what is being reported? I can't imagine the head of the agency, much less the President, are none to pleased. That is putting it politely.

even Obama said he would target AQ wherever they were and carries out this policy to this very day even in friendly countries i.e. PAK

But this policy has been public (though not the names on the list) since 2001.
