Whatever happened to the subpoena that Rove has managed to ignore on another illegal matter he was involved in.
How many illegal activities are we going to allow this guy to get away with while making money talking about them on fox noise.

highly secret secret is related to an assassination ring. Why narrow it? Who said assination ring. Assassinations are OLD news. Goes back to 2002. Remember the 52 card pack with their pictures - that bizarre, creepy, tasteless gimmick that Rummy thought up to the embarassment (I'm sure) of professional soldiers up to Generals from our past.

5. I dont think the issue is how many people they tell

it is the way they tell them. Members of the gang of 8 have said that the way they are briefed is very incomplete. They are not allowed to take notes, they only show them a few things here and there and they are usually blindsided with the info without any prep on the briefings. Also they aren't allowed to tell anyone on what they were briefed about not even staffers. The briefings should be more complete and they should be allowed to take notes.

If this was about assassinating foreign enemies, why the hell would he have been in the loop about this??!?

Lots of people everywhere have mentioned that the goal of the "war on terror" was to kill Al-Qaeda people and other terrorists, it wasn't a secret. What I'm expecting to hear coming to light one of these years is the nightmare scenario -- the widespread use of wiretapping powers, CIA and other spooky assets, etc. for purely political purposes to benefit the Republican party. If that had been going on, Rove certainly would have been in the middle of it.

To my knowledge *all* I've heard along these lines was a quick mention several years ago about a wiretapper who lost his job for misusing his spooky powers, without any details about what he did. Maybe he was spying on a girlfriend, maybe the Kerry campaign -- who knows??
