9. My favorite day of the campaign.....

...... the song they played when he ran up to the stage in Dunedin, FL was "Centerfield" by John Foggerty.

It was at the end of that awful Palin-induced nightmare where McCain was ahead in the polls for a week or so. McCain went all bonkers and decided to suspend his campaign so he could take the bus back to DC and save the world, three days before the first debate. And the President was like, "well, ya know, I CAN do more than one thing at a time."

I can still see Barack running up to that stage.... "Say Hey Willie!, tell the Cobb and Joe Dimagio! Dont 'say it aint so' you know the time is now!"
