I compare this Beck idiocy with the wit and intelligence of Franken's old radio show and well, there just is no comparison. I'm trying to think of some "left wing loon" in the media who takes our ideas too far and becomes objectionable, but I'm coming up blank. In contrast, I can name a dozen or more obnoxious, un-American wingnut "pundit" hate-talkers right off the top of my head.

There is something about conservative wingnut radio listeners that draws them to crazy like flies are drawn to crap.

I don't know for sure, but I believe he went a little too far, in their opinion, in getting upset on the air and calling Bush and Cheney names. He referred to them as rat bastards and coined the term Bush Crime Family. But still never like this mental case.

I was right with him, and was glad he now has an independent show I can listen to through iTunes. He's on AM 1090 Seattle.

My BIL is a huge Glen Beck fan so I took the three "Get off my phone!" and made them into a ringtone and assigned it to him when he calls! He thought it was great and funny.

Big Pharma it is not immediately evident, but I am betting on a little of each. I usually don't watch clips with the hate meisters but I had never seem Beck in action before and the thought that pops into my mind after hearing him is, "Who listens to this swill?" How is it he is employed when so obviously in need of immediate and enforced hospitalization? He's probably like my poor old mother who suffered horribly for months, but didn't check into the hospital until 48 hours before she died of multiple, metastisized cancers because she knew they wouldn't let her smoke. Odd to say this, but he seems even sicker mentally and he is probably self-medicating ala Oxycontin Rush. K&R! :kick:
