to me that he was sober for that program and you can see the difference. I hope he can pull himself out of the current addiction and become again the sharp mind he used to be.

I never knew Hitchens had a sharp mind. As a rule, I turn off the media when I hear or see his willfully ignorant facade.

4. I have to agree.

I don't know enough about Hitchens to claim he has an addiction, but the difference between then and now is remarkable. Even in his diminished capacity, he's still one of the (ironically) sober voices on a variety of serious issues in the media today.
