was issued by the US. No, it was issued by her state and each state handles requests for copies differently.

For some reason, this video brings to mind the old photos from the Civil Rights era of the bigots who were in full lynch mob mode with Elizabeth Eckford (and the Little Rock Nine) when they integrated Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
In reality, these people would think that any African-American is a non-citizen (a concept which, on its face, is patently bigoted). That's what the entire election was about -- casting anything as "OTHER" as non-American. Even after the gentleman corrected her, the other lynch mob bigots just joined in to shout him down.
These people are human filth.

That brought me to tears! I weep for these people who feel that nationalism, quoting an allegience to a FLAG, is a pacifier. They have traded their souls for symbols.

These people simply cannot accept the fact that an African American is president.
We must never forget how easily Fascism can gain a foothold. And that Nazi Germany was really not so very long ago.
Remember Me - Phil Ochs
When the Fascists started marching many millions had to pay; We saw them rise to power but we looked the other way. It happened once before and it can happen once again-- Will you show me that I didn't die in vain. Remember me, when the crosses are a burnin' Remember me, when the racists come around. Remember me, when the tides of peace are turnin', Remember me and please don't let me down.

11. Thanks, for nothing, Congressman . . . |
|
These people need to be slapped - HARD - with the reality stick, and you didn't do your job when you had a golden opportunity to do so.
Somebody needs to tell them to GROW the FUCK UP, put down the conspiracy theory crack pipe, stop huffing Rush Limbaugh's paint fumes and start dealing with it.
But then, I guess that might result in you not getting reelected, wouldn't it Congressman - and that's The Most Important Thing In The World.

15. I think he was so caught off guard, |
|
all he could do - like McPOW when that crazy lady started babbling that Obama was a Muslim - was to state that Obama is a citizen.
Look what happened when he did that - and they were running out of time.
So, don't be so hard on the guy. He was in an impossible situation. You and I both know that you cannot talk sense to assholes like that. Look how they booed him down when he made a simple statement of fact............................

|
They're his campaign volunteers, his GOTV staffers, the people he talks to on a regular basis, meets when he's visiting his district and the very backbone of the today's austrolopithecene GOP - how can he NOT know?!?

23. Caught off guard by that woman - |
|
who then, you will note, hijacked the meeting with her call to rise up and to pledge allegiance.
I'm sure he knows, but how do you propose he deal with a group like that? I mean, seriously. In all realistic thinking, what do you think he could have done that wouldn't have gotten him shouted down?
He could only repeat what's been published everywhere, and that group would have had none of it. I seriously question that those are his "volunteers, staffers, etc." If you watch, you'll see that it was a very small group.
That's reality, and I think he handled himself very well.........................

When I see a bunch of crazy repukes take control of a town hall like that and scream about a birth certificate and then recite the pledge of allegiance because they want to prove their patriotism, it makes me laugh because it's so outlandish.
You are correct, it is insane and scary, but it's also funny to me.
