Mea Culpa is great but now for the action to match the words of understanding. The media is beginning to pick the lint from its navel after the years in bed with the right-wing/wind but until they report events and give us content on how that works in the real world they are like children who steal candy. They are so-so-so sorry but can't resist doing it again at the first opportunity. When they stop parsing every word and action of every pol and let us ADULTS decide for ourselves I will believe Todd was being candid.

2. Very clever angling. But, he must be blind. He should have started out talking about |
|
the money being given to some Congress people by HC lobbyists and then he should have tried to spin it by saying the media is overplaying the obstacles while he appears to be criticize the money being spent. More money being spent pushing it then fighting it?
OK, Todd, you're spun out. You did what you're paid for. You can sit down.

3. ZERO respect for this shill.... |

I've had trouble following this idiot. At first I thought he was just another analyst that would throw his opinion out for us to swallow. After what I've seen from his debut in the White House till now, he's pretty much tried to become the she'man coultier of normal network media. He says and goes along with some pretty naive and stupid stuff.
What he has to say, and what part he plays in helping this country move forward with honest and true coverage is minuscule. he should be ashamed of himself, and I have zero respect for this jack ass.

6. Chucky forgot to mention how free media is priceless, |
|
and thus far, opponent of health care reform have been getting that 90% to 10%.
Just the relentless reporting of OBama's numbers dropping on this particular issue, after inundating the airwaves with reports of the "failing" stimulus, and 2nd stimulus, and the lack of jobs being created, right before this health care battle began in earnest, last week when the President was out of the country, has eroded some of the support Pres. Obama had for Health Care.
Add that the media spends no time in even bothering to explain exactly what is in the 3 proposals that have passed out of committee, while parroting the GOP talking points, and you've got yourself some constituent confusion, exactly what the media wants.
Look, the majority of Americans voted for Barack Obama who ran on reforming health care. That means that Chucky and his media are traitors to the American Majority, as they have decided that they will do all that they can to kill reform, and then 3 weeks from now, they will be reflecting on how they did this and that..... and perhaps they shouldn't have. They need to know what not to do before they do it, not after the fact.
But Fuck 'em. They are traitors, far as I'm concerned.
