This video highlights the watch. He's wearing it when he puts his hand down, then when he lifts it again, the watch is gone. When his hand is down, he's surrounded by bodyguards. Also, watch the beginning of this clip, as Bush goes by, the man in the white shirt and then the man with the coat and sunglasses glance down at his watch.

I think one of them spotted the watch, then took it off Bush's wrist before he raised his hand again. Then again, I will be listing the watch on Ebay tomorrow for anyone interested in purchasing a watch that very well may look sort of like his... :)

And yes, I could be wrong. If Tony Snow says the watch wasn't stolen, it probably was.

It's more clear in the link in my post. They stop the film and circle the watch, at 16 seconds, which is after the 3:09 point in the OP clip. Bush is in the motion of bringing his hand down, and the watch is there. He drops his hand to his side, when it comes up the watch is gone. If you frame-by-frame the OP clip, you can still see the watch at 3:07, after the crowd gropes at his wrist. They continue to grope after that, the rest of the clip, so I'm guessing that's some type of greeting. But the watch is on his wrist when he lowers his hand between his two bodyguards, and gone when he raises it. If someone swiped it then, they are both brave and skilled.
