3. 30 Hours Maintenance to every 1 Hour Flight time. |
|
Plus, when some F-22's flew across the International Dateline, the Avioics software application crashed, and they were forced to return to Hawaii to wait for the date to flip.
They probably outsourced the Avionics software overseas, and pocketted the difference.
Anyone else notice how heavy this aircraft looks during the 180` roll? As it rolls upside down, it loses tons of elevation, which it then has to struggle to regain while flying in the inverted position.
The F-16, F-18, SU-27, SU-29, and SU-30 don't appear to have this problem, and I doubt that the pilot of the F-22 shown in this clip is a novice, but a highly trained, experienced test pilot.
One other thing not mentioned in the clip is that the F-22 is "Secret", meaning that it cannot be sold to foreign countries, while all the other existing airframes listed above are sold to anyone that has the cash.
