It never ceases to amaze me how many very "sick" people there are out there. It has been disproven over and over again, but the crazies won't believe it. I wonder what would happen if one of the southern Republican Congressmen or Senators would come out and denounce it. Although my guess is they wouldn't be believed either. When you're nuts, you're nuts.

5. She's trying to reinflate the standard republican tactic:

Fear! She really wants Americans to be afraid. She is playing the "democrats are soft on defense" card and hoping it sticks. Carville is good here. It is ironic that she called him on potentially interrupting her but then proceeded to interrupt James with impunity.

This is a good hint at the repuklian strategy for 2012. They will go to what they believe to be their strength "fear". And the "responsible" wing of the party will play it as "soft on defense" because ... well because of whatever they can imagine. They will spin whatever fantasy myth about threats to the country that they can and try to make them stick. Most likely the media will be their lap dog and do the work of cementing the myth. It will be that North Korea is a threat that Obama ignored or it will be that Iran's nuclear ambitions are a threat that Obama ignored or it will be that the Taliban are a threat that Obama ignored. It will have no basis in truth but we already know that.

7. While Carville Is Right About the Absurdity, the Whys, and the Hows...

...it was his wife, Mary Matalin, who was chief editor for the Jerome Corsi book that really helped to stir this up. I like James Carville (and I even like Mary Matalin as a person), but it kinda bothers me that he's speaking out about the crazies that his wife actively encouraged... Maybe it shouldn't bother me, but it does.
