FOX News - 23 July 2009: Due to "crisis of consciousness," memo from Chairman of Joint Chiefs announces he is "appalled by treatment of Iraqis captured on battlefield."

Fox acts like they've broken the story (Fox News EXCLUSIVE!) in order to do damage control for ignoring this story for years AND to supposedly embarrass President Obama.

("I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that gambling going on in here." "Your winnings, sir...")

Fox 'News' Reader: "Is there any sense in the memo of how widespread these acts were and whether the perpetrators were prosecuted?" :eyes:

1. Perpetrators???

The ONLY *Perpetrators* I hold responsible is.....BUSH,CHENEY, RUMSFELD....et'al! (You get the picture) knr!

2. Intresting how now they are concerned about transparency wasn't iraq leader who pleaded they...

stay underwraps for fear of insurrection or something along those lines. Oh the icky mess they left behind of the former administration and to think some on the right are protesting in their view that it should all come back, unreal. If there is one section who should see these pictures it should be those that voted for it and no-one else and then try and then talk to us about patriotism, I think they would be short of words then. I don't want to see them but they need to see them, to learn from history.

Faux couldn't deliver a straight story if their lives depended on it.

I wish someone in the admin had the spine to deliver a pithy and candid
assessment instead of this mealy-mouthed "appalled at the suggestion".

It is our job to see to it that the machinery of the police state
created by the last administration is dismantled, beaten into plowshares,
and shoved up the &*^% of the criminals who created it so it doesn't happen
again.

I am former Army, I promise you, they will only prosecute if
they have to. Since they have not released those pictures,
they are not going to prosecute.
