As the Democrats work to let health care get railroaded during their recess I noticed a lot of hubbub coming to the fore about Barack Obama being an illegal alien. It kicked off with a rather embarrassing appearance by Felon, G. Gordon Liddy on Chris Matthews' Hardball Show. The pathetic exchange between Matthews and Liddy (Matthews basically blew off his other guest and went in for the kill himself) centered on this sworn affidavit that supposedly proved Barack Obama's birth occurred in Kenya and was witnessed by his grandmother.

Long story short- I find the whole experience unsatisfying. I urge you to listen, read and make your own decision. The upshot to me is... for all practical purposes, Barack Obama is an American citizen. I would concede that under the microscope of paranoia, even I can start to doubt.

3. Great stuff Frank. I got a suggestion for you. I have this theory that drives the right crazy.

It's the .."They have to copy everything we do" theory. It goes like this.

WE said that Bush stole the election in 2000 so he wasn't really the President. He was illegitimate and a fraud. Then in 2004 we said he stole it again with voting machines.

Since the right has to copy everything we do. They started planning to make Obama illegitimate too.

That's why they started complaining about "voter fraud" by Acorn before the election. They were laying the groundwork for accusing Obama of stealing the election. BUT Obama won in greater numbers than they expected so the only thing they had let to make him illegitimate with was the birth certificate theory.

Other types of proof I offer to show how they copy everything we do is....

We ran a woman for President. They ran Palin.

We elected a black President.

They elected Michael Steele.

They are always copying us. They even play OUR music even though OUR musicians tell them not to.

It's my theory but you can use it if you want. It doesn't matter if it's true as long as it makes their heads explode. lol
