1. Interesting how ABC news has disabled embedding of youtube videos & disabled commenting on youtube.
It was well worth watching.
The meat industry is "concerned" that simply labeling cloned meat as such will "scare" the consumer because they aren't "educated".
What a way to spin things.

I want to know details about my food - and then I will make the decision. That's why I buy locally as much as possible (grown sustainably &/or organically) and buy organic (almost always from US or Canada) when I can't get an item grown locally.

5. They have no idea what putting cloned animals in the food supply will
do to anyone. The technology is too new. And why not just make animals the old fashioned way? What was wrong with that?

I'm eating fewer and fewer animal products, very little processed foods and as much local, organic produce as I can afford. Health care is NOT affordable for me, so my best defense is a good diet and exercise. Big ag is doing all they can to keep the rest of America sick and dependent on Big pharma.

3. Talk about a Scooby-Doo caricature, that old lady pr hack
Edited on Sat Jul-25-09 03:56 PM by drexel dave
is the epidemy of a Scooby-Doo PR hack. People are getting wise to the paid hack who will say ANYFUCKINGTHING and would promote the anal rape of infants as long as they get paid.

4. Her defense of the industry's opposition to food labeling is laughable.
I think she needs a good smack upside the head, maybe knock some sense into her.
