5. Sometimes when you hear a bad speech, you just know

that the speaker isn't a gifted public speaker. In Palin's case it's alarmingly obvious that she isn't a gifted thinker, and she's apparently dumb enough not to understand that filling the air with the sound of her voice is not the same thing as communicating. It's bad enough that she isn't the sharpest tool &etc. but that she's so unaware of her foolishness, well, it boggles the mind. To think that she is admired by some is creepy as hell. Dammit there are some morans in this world!

Reagan wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed either, but at least when they put him in front of a script he could read it reasonably well and pretend to know what he was doing.

It has been my instinct to turn off the t.v. or radio whenever I know the president is going to speak; eight years of conditioning has had their effect. I have once again started to listen and it's always a pleasant surprise, not to feel the need to cringe the moment Obama opens his mouth.

Speech is a public display of the speaker's mental processing. That incoherent "word salad" that Sarah invariably spews when she speaks freely? That's her mind. That's her thought process. This is all that there is to her: disorganized, muddled thinking that comes across in inarticulate, disjointed speech.

21. New movie idea : “Girls from Alaska”

Palin carries such a pure essence of Republicanism in her DNA
that inspires me to write a movie named “Girls from Alaska” in
the same vein as the movie “Boys from Brazil”.

Case 1) The whole idea of the practice of  politics is to
convince people of one’s ideas and get elected to implement
the ideas. Republicans like the 1st part but fail miserably at
the 2nd, harder part.  So Palin quits to reach for the money
bag.

Case 2)  The plea: "How about, in honor of the American
soldier, you quit makin' things up?" is classic
Republican tactic of forcing soldiers to the front to shield
themselves from the attacks.

Incidentally, the entire reason the soldiers are out there is
because the Republicans made stuff up!

So Palin 2012!
