Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin spoke about the future of space exploration and said the public would be interested in a monolith on Phobos, one of the two small moons that revolve around Mars.

He sounded sincere. What's the problem with thinking the monolith is a natural structure? We certainly have some odd natural structures on earth.

ummm... ANY two points are on a straight line to each other.

No tin foil needed with this. They are natural formations. Nothing more, nothing less.

Buzz used the word Monolith. The reader implies it must be an intelligently created structure. But the definition of monolith does not imply it is artificial.

Its likely just a rock. It would be more interesting if it were an alien structure; we should take a look; but don't hold your breath...
