Summary:
Sotomayor is expected to reach a floor vote for her confirmation before the August recess. One Republican Sen. Lyndsey Graham is expected to vote in favor of her.
Majority Leader Harry Reid is bringing a water appropriations bill to the floor for debate by Monday.
Max Baucus will be working his committee's version of the healthcare bill and will hope to have it through committee by Aug 7.
The 2010 authorization act will be ironed out for differences between house and senate, with out funding for certain fighter jets.
The energy and commerce committee will be continuing negotiations with blue dog in the committee and possibly will be marking up the healthcare bill this week.
