more than anything being said, the thing that cracked me up about this is Brand logo build-up. WAYYYYY too many organizations in the foodchain of this bit. And all have their annoying graphis all over the page.

1. I hate it when they put shit all over the screen. It screws up the closed caption.

And it often obscures something I want to see, which is hard enough with the closed captions taking chunks out of the visual area.

3. just imagine if 4 or 5 news sites use an original piece from CNBC

there will only be room left for about 1/10 of the screen to be visible with the ticker, late breaking news crawl, 5 different media outlets' logos, etc.

THey should regulate how much space on the screen can be used for that crap. It's ridiculous.

15. This morning I turned on the TV to watch BBC America

and CBS came on since I was watching "Without a Trace" last night. And there was Ann Coulter. On CBS. See? That's the problem. CBS thinks it's appropriate to have a lazy flamethrower like Ann on as a commentator. There have to be at least 100+ more credible people. Yet, there's Ann Coulter. She's fact deprived. She a carnival show, all outrageous statements with no context. She gets hooked on one statement and then just repeats it, no matter what questions she's asked. CBS should be ashamed. But I doubt that they are.
