1. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. |

Did you hear the "oh boy" from the hostess as Carl began his rant?
Thanks for omitting Buchanan from that clip.

3. Thank you, Carl Bernstein! |

She is a demagogue. That "raw talent" they speak of...it's the shameless willingness to pander to the basest instincts we have. I wouldn't dignify it by calling it talent. It's demagoguery. Hitler, Mussolini, Oswald Mosely, Father Coughlin, Joe McCarthy....they all had this "talent."

6. So does Paris Hilton and Brittney Spears. She has no talent... |
|
for governing. She has managed to put a persona together that gets attention. Her supporters are the same people that read the Enquirer for news and spend all day obsessing about star personalities and their dysfunctional relationships.
She may be able to get elected but she cannot actually do the job.

8. Nor does she want to--which is why she quit before finishing |
|
her term as governor. She just wants what she calls the "title," not the responisbilites. She keeps saying "title," which is what beauty contest contests win, rather than "office" or "job."

Bernstein: Palin is ignorant demagogue flake, totally unqualified, conservatives are okay with this, while they would run a similar Democrat who quit in the middle of a first term out of town
Jonathan Capart(sp?) NYTimes: 100% agree but she has talent, if she used time off to study, etc.
Unfortunately Buchanan's response is not on the tape, I'd like to watch what he said.

14. His point about McCain's decision being unpatriotic is a good one. |
|
I don't know why it doesn't come up more often. McCain tried to put this ignorant person a step away from the white house.

21. It was brought it up a LOT during |
|
the campaign and by some afterwards. It seems mccain was coerced into having palin as his running mate by tptb and him not his own candidate and really wanting that white house gig(gag..can you imagine?)..simply had no say in the matter.
In the process it became obvious mccain isn't such a tough guy afterall..that, and a bunch of other swarmy decisions he's made.

15. Bernstein destroys her in spades |
|
How many other condemnations will it take before she is history?
The more she is villified by the press, the more she rises - just like an oil slick - the right-wingers love her because most sensible people (and especially progressives) attack her.
Like the birther issue, Sarah Palin is a big distraction from other more grave issues that people need to be taking care of - to name just a few: health care, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the economy and the environment.

If people would just put her on permanent ignore, eventually she'd go away.

|
becoming more qualified, she's too arrogant to think she is deficient, and so she would surely lose.
