Unusually, O'lielly didn't shout his interviewee down in this one. Of course, if he agreed that Dobbs should be fired for this, then he'd be admitting that he and his ilk (Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh et al) would have disappeared long ago for being even more dangerous.

1. well CBS fired Don Imus

over a racial slur..but O'Lielly makes a point about going up to the line..the problem is the line keeps moving and lies are now acceptable on MS tv. Yellow journalism is popular these days with radical right. It is about ratings unfortunately.

4. Well, even leaving the Birther/Dobbs issue aside, that was interesting.

It's the first time I've ever heard O'Reilly sound even close to reasonable. I mean, I still think he was wrong, but he didn't go into his usual attack mode and spew venom wildly all over his guest. If he were to try that all the time, I wonder what it would do to his ratings.
