5. Maher and his whole discussion of "socialism" and

Communism and Capitalism was very weak and added nothing to our side of the debate.

His writers must be doing all his thinking for him these days.

His remarks about Health Care were impressive and really naile it.

But then he is asked about Socialism, and rather than replying, Hey look what Matt Taibibi has said on my show about the greatest SOCIALISTIC handover of wealth from one group of people to another, a forced hand over by the way, and it is our banks and supposed economic leaders, like Bernanke, that advocate Socialism if it is for AIG and Goldman Sachs, but they want to give nothing to us for health care.

Only when public funds are for the people is it called Socialism; if it is for the Big Banking interests, it is good and somehow referred to as Capitalism. Why did Maher let CNN get away with this odious frame?
