MSNBC's Chris Matthews Takes On Idiot-Republican Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter's 'Resolution' That Tells President Obama To Apologize To Cambridge Police Officer Sgt. Crowley - 07/28/09 I'm posting this right from Thaddeus' home site so he can get a feel for how folks feel about his 'legislation priorities'.

Let 'em hear from you -

3. Resolved
I am drawing up a resolution that Thaddeus McCotter and Chris Matthews must not only apologize, but also give back the freaking 9 minutes and 17 seconds that I wasted watching this asshatish video.

10. At least I can say he's not MY Rep.
I'm in Mark Schauer's district! I wonder... if I asked him to smack this one upside the head next time he sees him...?

I mean, seriously, where was this guy for the last EIGHT YEARS, with all this uppity talk about checks and balances and the President overstepping his authority, and GHOD knows what else? Yeah, I know, it's okay when he's a Republican, they're supposed to do that.

But really, apologize for WHAT??! Answering a freakin' question? From a reporter?? JESUS, if the President can't even answer reporters' questions for fear of "interfering with a private citizen," what the hell is the President allowed to do??? And why the wasn't anyone calling out the last guy every other day?!? Oh, right, Republicans are allowed to do that. Give. Me. A. Freakin'. Break!

Hey, McCotter, here's a resolution for ya: NO MORE RESOLUTIONS calling for ANY apologies from President Obama until he's misspoken AT LEAST as many times as his predecessor. Of course, they'd never allow the enforcement of such a thing. Obama would probably finish out BOTH his terms before they got halfway there.

I don't know what bothers me more: that they actually think we're this stupid, or that we actually let them continue to think so.

9. McCotter looks like a fool of a lawyer who specializes in bringing
nuisance suits just to attract attention.

I find it odd that Cheney and Bush declared a war based on inadequate information and assumptions and then tortured prisoners who had never been convicted of anything and this congressman said nothing. Now, President Obama says he thinks it is stupid to arrest a 58-year old Harvard professor with laryngitis and no criminal record on the porch of his house for disorderly conduct and this congressman thinks that deserves a Congressional slap on the wrist.

Interesting values.
