Something about this doesn't seem right, there's got to be an ulterior motive. O'Lielly usually jumps on-board any wingnut anti-Obama bandwagon that passes by, or creates one himself. Over the past couple of days he's gone out of his way to debunk the birthisms and has seemed almost... ( finding it difficult to type this) ... nice.

1. O'Reilly is going to have Lou Dobbs on his show?
The combined IQ of those two will be staggering...

3. O'Reilly said in a previous video posting ..
Edited on Wed Jul-29-09 05:17 AM by AsahinaKimi
That during the Election Campaign they had already investigated Obama's birth certificate after hearing a rumor that he might not be a citizen, so for him to go down the same path again would only make him look more stupid.

4. In for the kill
The rethugs want to kill this story to move on the the next obstruction full force.
They are going in full force to kill any health care reform.
If they manage to kill it 2010 will be theirs.

8. Republicans are trying to kill the birther story? The RNC has to be behind it.
They will do anything to raise questions about Obama. Everything they do is about "breaking him".

5. well, knowing Faux ...
they're going to start to convince the population that it is being run by the Dems ...

I mean, wasn't it a bunch of so-called "Hillary supporters" who started the rumors? After McCain was established as the Repug frontrunner, infighting in the Repuke party would hurt only them, so they had to make it look like the Dems were being nasty ...

17. Actually the first birther lawyer, Berg, WAS a Hilliary supporter
and is batshit crazy attention whore. But a putative Dem, although our local party has disowned him, and actively worked AGAINST his recent campaign for a judgeship, which he filed as a Dem. People went door to door to make sure everyone was aware that he is NOT supported by our local party.

But the people floating this now are just lunatic right-wingers who can't accept that they lost the election. And lost it so badly that they can't dispute the election, so they have to go with something else.

9. Strangely, O'Reilly is not the worst of them by any means.
On non-political topics, I actually agree with the guy about half the time.

It would be much more interesting if scum like Hannity, Beck, or Cavuto, or the frothy lightweights on Fox and Fools, said what Bill says here.

Have the repukes decided to slow up their furious digging? Is this a brief respite from their drug-induced reality?

11. The RNC decided
this load of crap story wasn't getting any traction and only served to cast them as the lying lunatics they really are. Understanding the damage the crack pots are doing to their already tainted image, Karl Rove (yes he still runs the propaganda) decided to kill the story.

12. It's Not Strange At All. The Republican Politicians Don't Want to Break The News to the Birthers
So they enlist O'Lielly and Coulter to do it for them. Those two won't lose votes because of it and it will only increase controversy (and therefore ratings) for those two.

Makes perfect sense.

Whatetever hue the person maybe. It can only appear that if this movemnet is given life there might be questioning of near every President candidate from here on in. And taking away the concept that everyone can grow up to be president.

18. This is a softball issue for Fox so they can appear "Fair and Balanced"

They use empty-suit distraction items like this to prove that they have an even keel. The actual substance and weight of this issue is lost on Fox viewers. If it has Obama's name on it, that is all they need to lump it in with matters of true importance.

19. Not wierd at all, really.
Fox is what it is, we all know that, but they're not so stupid to push something that is so obviously false and make themselves look stupider than they usually do.
