2. And what about prisoner abuse in American jails?
Time for all that to end and those that do these crimes to serve time themselves. I bet they will be happy to know no one will rape or beat them to death when that time comes.

3. You took the words right out of my mouth!
It will be a long time before the MSM tackles the problem of the horrors of the U.S. jails.

I sometimes wonder why so many American pundits and politicians have such a blind spot when it comes to their country vs the rest of the world. During the big melt-down of the American economy the NYT carried an article about Cuba's big failures because they are a socialist country. Never mind that the U.S. has bent over backwards for years and years to keep that country poor and never mind the fact they at least have better health care -- and maybe Cuba's poor ain't so poor compared to yours. Right in the midst of a spectacular failure of capitalism and the bail-outs the NYT deplores socialist Cuba? Unblushingly.

Not only that but Joe Biden says Russia's economy has "wilted" or something dumb that Hillary scrambled to apologize to the Russians for. Is this really the appropriate time to claim that Russia has huge economic problems? Don't we all? Doesn't America in particular have a massive problem? Does Joe have a blind spot or what?

Anybody who wants to cure Iran's problems with democracy, torture and so on needs to review what Noam Chomsky has to say about the matter. I wish the U.S would butt out of Iran's internal affairs and do something about the mess they have at home. Get rid of idiot and corrupt politicians for starters.
